In memorium of the recently destroyed Temple of Ba’al-Shamin at Palmyra in Syria, I quick-modeled and printed a draft of the ancient site. An open access model of it is available on Thingiverse for everyone to print (and/or refine). The Islamic State may be attempting to erase the past by wantonly destroying it, but even with the physical site gone, its digital ghost lives on. #weepforsyria #3dPrintingV.ISIS
